Who We Are

Beginning in 2012, we have focused on a felt-needs approach to make an IMPACT in education, economic development, leadership development, housing, healthcare, and youth sports. Acknowledging that the issues that plague our community are multi-faceted, we recognize that a comprehensive approach is necessary to meet the needs of the community in a tangible way.

It all started with 3rd grade football practice. Coach Philip Abode, who was also Pastor Philip Abode at Crossover Bible Church, began to see through his players how sports could help connect the church with families’ practical needs. This experience transformed Philip’s perspective on what it would take to truly make an impact in the community that went beyond Sunday mornings. From this fundamental objective, Crossover Community Impact (CCI) was born.

In order to fulfill its mission, CCI currently operates several programs within north Tulsa including:
